Hot Chocolate

Time: 5 mins

Makes: 2 cups

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbs cacao powder

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp ground turmeric 

  • ¼ tsp ground cardamom

  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp maple syrup (or sweetener of your choice)

  • 500ml of milk of your choice (almond, macadamia, coconut etc)

Method:

  1. Mix the cacao and spices together into a mug or cup

  2. Mix to combine, then divide between the two cups

  3. Add the sweetener to each up (if desired)

  4. Heat the milk of your choice (stove top, microwave or coffee machine)

  5. Add a little hot milk to each up and mix to dissolve the cacao, spices and sweetener.

  6. Top with the rest of the milk and enjoy
