Neuro Rehabilitation In Boronia
Individualised care for complex neurological and balance-related conditions.
Neuro rehabilitation focuses on supporting the brain and nervous system when it is not functioning as effectively as it should.
This may occur following injury, illness, or as part of longer-term neurological or age-related changes that affect balance, coordination, movement, or cognitive function.
At Bergamo Chiropractic and Nutrition Centre, neuro rehabilitation is delivered through a thoughtful, evidence-based approach that recognises the complexity of the nervous system and the individuality of each person. Care is tailored, unrushed, and grounded in careful assessment, with a strong emphasis on understanding how neurological challenges are affecting daily life.
Dr Paul Bergamo (chiropractor) has completed 400 hours of post graduate Neurology study with the Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies in USA. Paul is also a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.
When neuro rehabilitation may be appropriate
Neuro rehabilitation may be suitable for individuals experiencing ongoing or complex concerns involving the nervous system, particularly when symptoms have not responded as expected to standard care.
This may include support for people with:
Persistent dizziness or balance difficulties
Vestibular disorders, vertigo, or migraine-associated dizziness
Ongoing symptoms following concussion
Neurological challenges affecting coordination or movement
Paediatric neurological presentations, including developmental or sensory challenges
Age-related neurological changes impacting balance, mobility, or cognitive function
Each case is assessed individually, and care is always adapted to suit the person’s presentation, capacity, and goals.
A considered, collaborative model of care
Neuro rehabilitation at BCNC does not exist in isolation. Where appropriate, care is integrated with other services within the clinic and external healthcare providers.
This collaborative approach allows us to support the broader needs of individuals with complex presentations, while ensuring care remains coordinated, consistent, and patient-centred.
