Most health funds recognise chiropractic, physiotherapy, massage and nutritionist in their extras cover. The centre houses the on-the-spot Hicaps claim facility so patients simply pay the gap on the consultation. The rebate varies with different funds and the level of your extras cover. We recommend you speak to your health insurance provider if you want to determine your actual gap payment.
The centre also works with GPs with the Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM). The new medicare allied health item means for suitable patients they would have a rebate of $61.80 for up to five consultations, depending on what is allocated by your GP.This medicare benefit only applies for complex, chronic spinal cases.

Chiropractic care is a regulated health profession in Australia. At BCNC, care is provided following a thorough assessment and is tailored to each individual’s presentation and needs.
Chiropractic treatment of the musculoskeletal system is internationally recognised as being far safer and the risk of injuries and complications far lower than that associated with many medical or other treatments, medications and procedures given for the same symptoms.
From the 2025 JMPT study, Observational Study of the Safety of Chiropractic vs Medical Care Among Older Adults With Neck Pain, it was concluded with new onset neck pain, management with chiropractic care was associated with lower rates of adverse events than primary medical care. The prescription drug therapy group had the highest risk of any measured adverse outcome.

We also have a FREE backpack assessment for all children, from Prep, or 5 years onwards.

Yes. A lot of our chiropractic patients have preceding remedial massage. This allows a one to one collaboration between the chiropractor and the remedial massage therapist for best care for our patient.
If the presentation is neurologically based in a Neuro Rehab consultation e.g. migraine, concussion, vertigo, or dizziness, we often couple this work with our remedial Massage Therapist to manage the muscular side of this problem e.g. tight neck and shoulder blade muscles as well as tight jaw muscles.
If a patient has a waistline that is greater than 90 cm for a female or greater than 100 cm for a male, and they present with low back pain ,we often will partner with our Dietitian with the goal for weight management to reduce the load on the low back.
