The Clinic

The Boronia Clinic is called Bergamo Chiropractic & Nutrition Centre. The centre is a natural multi-disciplinary centre housing two chiropractors - Dr Bergamo and Dr Jones. We focus on general back needs of the population to more specialist type needs with paediatrics & nutrition. We also have Remedial massage therapist  - Joshua Hardidge - who applies a range of techniques,  from relaxation to therapeutic deep tissue and rehabilataion muscle work. The glue of the centre is our reception staff Carolyn and Kelly who provide a welcoming smile on your arrival and help attend to any personal requirements.

Nutrition & Lifestyle Referral Service

This is a service offered to all health practitioners who have clients who want to look at a natural, complete approach to manage the following conditions: obesity, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, fatigue and chronic pain. This referral practice provides a mechanism where close contact between the referring health practitioner and Dr Bergamo will happen via letter or telephone. This is a complete and unique service because we look at three areas of healthcare every consultation, which makes up the PEN PLAN^TM.

Psychology (cognitive restructuring and behavioural change, trouble shooting challenges that are barriers to action).

Exercise ..looking at self paced plans from home or work closely with your gym and or personal trainer.

Nutrition (all patients fill out 5 day food enquiries) to establish their nutrition status and provide means by which recommendations can be made to improve eating habits. Supplementations, if required is tailored to needs and only after we improve what clients eat everyday.

Our Seminars

Paul is a RMIT University lecturer of nutrition and public health to chiropractic students one day per week. Paul facilitates seminars both within the centre to local health groups eg GPs and maternal health nurses as well as small business and corporate.
